Ganyang Setan Alas! The Game is a single-player shooter set in a haunted Indonesian forest, where four students, armed with a range of weapons, must survive relentless zombie attacks and escape a cursed fate.

Yep! We started with a mobile prototype on Google Play last year. This year, we got an amazing opportunity to turn Ganyang into a full-fledged Windows game, pushing graphics to the max. Ganyang also featured on Steam! (playable demo Dec 13)

Who is LodhongKrupuk Interactive?

We are a subdivisiary of Akasacara Films (a production house who made award-winning film Setan Alas!) based on Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

How do you guys start the project?

Our beginnings are quite chill, with 4 software engineering students from Universitas Gadjah Mada working on Yusron Fuadi’s (Setan Alas! director) idea to turn his film into a game during an internship. Initially, it was just a way to learn Unreal Engine 5. But after its first internal showcase gained attention, 7 more students joined the team to take it further!
